Growing the Network

We are trying to get our name out there and follow up on leads that could enable a better position for Broken Wall and ourselves. John and I recently met with Matt of Dark Dimension Productions ( http://www.darkdimensionsproductions.com/ ) and talked about a community of filmmakers in New England, people with the mind set of doing, rather than talking. I think this is right up our alley and I hope it pans out.
Another Shindig past, only this time, with Costumes. Our stay at the meeting was unlike the one before, as we bunkered down at a table and people were being pulled into talk to us, or we just overlapped and did the networking thing. Some new contacts bring new energy into the group and at the very least, it was a good night with Rick, John, Steve and myself. The night was even greater when I won second place in the costume contest, wearing nothing but my Barista uniform from Starbucks. With our small successes lining up, we start to gear up for our next production and get back to the scripts and ideas. Here’s to more typing and thinking, won’t you join me?
